About Us
Jerry and Shirley are the owners of the Farm, and ready to welcome you with their warm Texas hospitality. Jerry is a retired cardiac surgeon, and Shirley is a retired nurse. Besides being an accomplished cook, Shirley is a also certified yoga instructor who teaces regulary in Bastrop and the surrounding areas. They live on the Farm with their two dogs, Flash and Chula.

The Farm is nestled in the String Prairie area between Bastrop
and Smithville, near the small community of Rosanky. The 240-acre
farm is a working cattle ranch and fishing oasis, and is easy to
find on State Hwy. 304, just 16 miles from Bastrop off State Highway
71, or 14 miles from Smithville just off CR. 535. From Houston: take I-10 West toward San Antonio. Take exit 642 to get onto 304, heading north. Stay on 304 for 17 miles, then turn right onto Peach Creek Rd. Go 1.6 miles and the entrance to the Farm is on the left. From San Antonio: take I-10 East toward Houston. Take exit 642 to get onto 304, heading north. Stay on 304 for 17 miles, then turn right onto Peach Creek Rd. Go 1.6 miles and the entrance to the Farm is on the left.
