The Farmhouse is over 100 years old but has been restored with additional space, bringing it to a spacious 2000 square feet. The airy 9 foot ceilings and ceiling fans add to the open feel, and a generous number of windows bring in the wonderful natural light, making the Farmhouse an idyllic retreat from the city. Fully equipped with modern conveniences and well-appointed furnishings mixed with antiques strike the perfect blend of country and comfort. 

The spacious great room has a large stone fireplace to create a cozy setting, or you can use the central heat or AC. Open the windows for the nighttime prairie breezes. A comfortable sofa, rockers, and recliners give you the perfect spot to curl up with a book, or enjoy an afternoon snooze. DVDs and a DVD player provide other entertainment options, as well as a full toy box, puzzles, books, and games for all ages. We do have wireless internet, so you will be able to use your laptop should the need arise.

A fully equipped large country kitchen with complete breakfast supplies for you to fix when YOU are ready. Go ahead; make breakfast in your pajamas! The pantry has lots of extras. Sit down and enjoy your meals at the rustic farmhouse table that seats up to 8. 

Spacious Accomodations
The Farmhouse has ample sleeping room for eight people. The master bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom and has a large queen bed. The front bedroom also had a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. The sofa in the great room also opens into a comfortable queen size bed.

Bringing the little ones? Not a problem! The Farmhouse is kid-friendly, and a portable crib is available on request. If they need a break from exploring the natural outdoors, DVDs, books and a full toy box add to their entertainment options.

Relax outside on the covered front porch or the wide back porch that runs the length of the back of the house. Have dinner outside, as the farmhouse is equipped with a gas grill and patio table and chairs. Enjoy the wide vistas or sunsets from an old fashioned rocker.  Let the frogs and coyotes sing you to sleep.

Rate
Farmhouse rental rate $189 per night for weekends, $169 per night for weeknights or stays of 4 or more days (rates are based on occupancy of two, each additional quest is $15 per night). 

Minimum 2-night stay, special circumstances considered.
